Description
My second (decent) traditional portrait of Chris Hemsworth, this time as Thor. I know I haven't uploaded for awhile now, & I had been trying to work on this drawing for the longest time. Life got in the way, so that's what took me so long. 
I wanted to experiment with more color, but I'm still scared of coloring faces. 
So I did more of a "color splash effect" & I'm actually happy with how it turned out! The cape & armor was fun drawing, & it's my favorite part of this piece! The hair & face...not so fun. Chris, why do you have to be so hard to draw? 
Strathmore Smooth Bristol Paper
Tools: Derwent graphite pencils, mechanical pencil, colored pencils (various brands), Sakura Gelly Roll pen, kneaded eraser, Tombow Mono Zero eraser (where has this been all my life?! I love it!), blending stumps, tissue, & a paintbrush.
Time: 20 or more hours? I lost track.
